40 years of honest work
40 years of honest work

Every employee of the Plant is a part of the great journey of the enterprise, a path that is created by labor and human destinies. Among those who have remained faithful to their work for many years is Oleg Anatolyevich Romanov, distillation apparatchik of the 5th category of shop No. 2, who has devoted more than forty years to the Plant. His professional biography is an example of an honest attitude, high skill and strong character.

  – The longer I worked at the Plant, the more I realized that I had found my calling and my favorite business. And I've been working here for 40 years now," says our interlocutor.

He joined the Plant in 1986, at the age of 22. Family tradition played an important role: his father worked at the company and supported his son's choice. Oleg Romanov worked as an aircraft mechanic before the Plant, but it was the production workshop that became the place where he felt confident in his choice and future profession.

Since then, his career has been inextricably linked with the second workshop, where he still works today, perfecting the skills of a distillation apparatchik. This profession requires attention, precision, discipline, and serious training. Oleg is responsible for the maintenance of technological equipment, control of plant operation parameters and product quality. It is a work in which there are no small things, and each stage is important.

Over time, he became one of the most respected specialists in the workshop. Many people use his knowledge, and both veterans and young employees listen to his words. And this recognition is confirmed by awards: diplomas, letters of appreciation, and the title of Metallurgist's Day laureate. Among the awards is a commemorative diploma of the Komsomol, a reminder of working youth.

The team that became a family

  – The team, the scale of production… I was warmly received, and they immediately began to teach and prompt me," he recalls.

A special stage of his youth was his work in the Komsomol youth brigade under the leadership of Boris G. Frolov. There, for the first time, he felt what real unity is.

  – We were one for one, we always helped each other. And now I often tell about it to those who just come to work," says our hero.

Today, he particularly values his colleagues' hard work, teamwork, and respect for each other. These qualities, according to him, make the team strong and the work productive.

Mentoring and succession

Over the decades of his work, he had many students. He admits that he has always considered mentoring to be an important part of the profession.

  – When young people asked for advice, I never refused – I explained, I showed. I understood that it was my duty to pass on the experience and help raise a decent shift.

He gives young employees simple but important advice.:

–Work honestly, work from the bottom of your heart, and you can achieve a lot.

It's time for a change

In forty years, both the profession and the production technology itself have changed. Modern control systems, automation, and computerization of processes have appeared.

"Monitors, computers... a lot of things are automatic now, but you always need a person," he emphasizes.

Despite his busy schedule, Oleg Romanov finds time to exercise, a habit that dates back to the army. At home, he enjoys doing the housework.: He grows cucumbers, tomatoes, and seedlings. This helps to restore strength and maintain internal balance.

Oleg Romanov's story is the path of a man who grew up with the Plant, mastered new technologies, remained faithful to the profession and became a mentor for several generations of employees. His life is an example of how love of business, honesty and hard work shape a person's character and strengthen the traditions of an enterprise.
