Every person has their own starting point – a dream from which everything begins. Olzhas Zhansapov, the foreman of the main production site of the combined recovery and distillation department of shop No. 3, had her associated with military service. In his youth, he planned to enroll in the Border Academy of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty and saw himself in shape. However, the attempt was unsuccessful and this turn became the beginning of another, no less significant path.

Choosing a further direction, he settled on metallurgy. The decision was conscious: I remembered the example of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, who also received a metallurgical education. This thought became a kind of guideline and inner support for him.

- I thought, why don't I try myself in this field? This is a serious job where a lot depends on the person," recalls Olzhas Zhansapov.

Studying at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University was the first step towards the profession. Already during his studies, he completed an internship at UKTMK JSC, and not formally: he defended his practical work on the topic of distillation, one of the key production processes.

In 2016, he joined the plant. According to him, at that time he was not interested in either the salary level or the position, it was more important to just get started. From the very first days, he found himself in a strong professional environment. The adaptation took place quickly enough, although the start was not easy: he got into the first shifts at night. This allowed us to get into the working rhythm faster and feel the real pace of production.

A special role in the development of a young specialist was played by his mentor, Azat Akmergenov, who taught him the basic skills and subtleties of the profession. It is thanks to such mentoring that a real industrial school is formed, where knowledge is transmitted not only through instructions, but also through personal experience. The team itself has become an equally important factor. The workshop was staffed by specialists with extensive experience, 30 to 40 years each, and the youngest of them had at least 10 years of experience. This environment has set a high professional level and has become a good basis for growth.

The team warmly welcomed the young specialist, helped him to get used to the job quickly and confidently. Gradually, experience came, an understanding of technological processes was formed, and self-confidence grew. Over time, it was his colleagues who pushed him to the next stage, to try himself as a master. The availability of specialized education and accumulated experience have become decisive arguments. Olzhas Zhansapov successfully passed the exams and passed the selection process.

Today, he works as a foreman at the main production site of the combined recovery and distillation department of Shop No. 3. His area of responsibility includes monitoring the entire technological process, setting tasks, preventing violations, and ensuring the safety of employees on all four shifts.

The master's work requires not only professional knowledge, but also developed managerial skills. Over the years, he has learned discipline, the ability to follow a clear plan, competently build communication and find an approach to people.

He especially appreciates his team, with whom he works on a daily basis.

- You need to start from the very bottom, gradually gain experience. This is the only way to become a true professional. There are difficulties in any profession, and it is important to be able to overcome them," our interlocutor notes.

Despite his high level of employment, Olzhas pays attention to self-development. There are plans to devote more time to reading, develop public speaking skills, and improve personal and professional qualities.

Physical activity remains an important part of his life. He regularly works out for himself: he runs, walks in the morning, tries to get up early. According to him, even a small morning load helps to maintain vigor and efficiency throughout the day. In addition, he actively participates in the athletic competitions of the Plant in kettlebell lifting and arm wrestling.

A separate place in the life of our hero is occupied by the family. Olzhas is the father of two children, and his family remains his main source of support and motivation.

Olzhas' professional career is a vivid example of how to build a career based on hard work, discipline and a desire for development. From the first night shift to the management of the site, each stage was completed consistently and with full dedication.

Such specialists form the basis of the enterprise. It is thanks to them that the continuity of production traditions is preserved, professional culture is strengthened and stable operation of the Plant is ensured.
