Time-tested responsibility
Time-tested responsibility

There are professions that are chosen for a while, and there are those that remain loyal for life. This is exactly the fate of Evgeny Tiyosov, an electrician of the 6th category of shop No. 7 of UKTMK JSC. He has been working at the Plant for more than 35 years, maintaining respect for the business, loyalty to the profession and responsibility to the team.

Evgeny Tiesov joined UKTMK on January 25, 1989. Since then, there has been only one entry in his work record: he was accepted into workshop No. 7 as an electrician. And from that day on, he continues to work there, remaining faithful to his chosen path for decades.

  – I like this profession. I chose it and have been working on it for almost my whole life," says our interlocutor.

There are no big statements in these words, but there is the main thing: the confidence of a person who once made a choice and is not looking for a replacement.

Over time, the plant became more than just a place of work for Evgeny Tiyosov. Over the years, he has become accustomed to the rhythm of the workshop, the people around him, and the daily tasks that require precision, care, and responsibility. The team, work shifts and production issues became a part of his life.

   – Work has become like a second home for me, one might say, as a way of life. I can't imagine anything else for myself," he admits with a smile.

The path to professional mastery consisted of daily work, willingness to learn and not be afraid of difficult tasks. Evgeny Tiesov remembers with gratitude the experienced colleagues from whom he learned knowledge and practical skills. The senior comrades not only explained the subtleties of the profession, but also conveyed the main thing: a responsible attitude to business. There was a lot of work, it was different, sometimes difficult and routine, requiring maximum concentration. But difficulties never became a reason to retreat. On the contrary, they helped to grow professionally.

  – I wasn't afraid of work. She was all kinds: both heavy and light. The main thing that I learned from the first years was a responsible attitude," recalls Evgeny Tiesov.

One of the achievements of which he is truly proud was the assignment of the 6th category, the highest level of qualification in his profession. This is the result of many years of work, accumulated experience and continuous improvement of skills. Each new level of responsibility was perceived by him as a confirmation of the correctness of the chosen path. Not only inside the workshop, but also at the industry level, his work was highly appreciated. A recent award also recognized his long-term work: in December, on Independence Day, Yevgeny Tiyosov was awarded the industry badge "Enbek Danky" of the III degree. There is a daily job behind this assessment that requires precision and responsibility.

Today, Evgeny Tiesov's responsibilities include servicing more than 200 electric transformers that operate throughout the Plant. This is a daily, painstaking and very important job: routine preventive repairs, clearance, wiping and pulling contacts, topping up transformer oil, prompt troubleshooting. The stability of production processes, and hence the safety of the entire enterprise, directly depends on the quality and timeliness of these works.

Mentoring occupies a special place in Evgeny Tiesov's professional biography. His mentor was Vitaly Ivanovich Mamontov, a serious, principled man who sincerely worried about production. It was he who shaped the young specialist's approach to business, which Evgeny Tiesov retains today.

"He taught us not to stop there, to constantly improve our skills and to treat work with full dedication and responsibility," says Evgeny Tiesov.

These principles became the basis of his professional worldview. And today, speaking about the team, Evgeny Tiesov emphasizes such qualities as hard work, honesty, responsibility and willingness to help in any situation. There is a real team atmosphere in workshop No. 7, where the principle of "one for all and all for one" applies. It is this kind of cohesion that helps to cope with the most difficult tasks and maintain the reliability of production.

Evgeny Tiesov spends his free time actively. He loves nature trips, fishing, hiking and tries to maintain an active lifestyle. As a car enthusiast, he follows the latest developments and trends in the automotive industry and tries to keep up to date with the latest developments.

Over the years, he has become convinced that the most valuable experience comes when you take on difficult tasks and give your best. By solving them, you grow as a specialist and become more confident step by step. Evgeny Tiesov advises young specialists not to be afraid of difficulties and to perceive them as an integral part of the profession.

  – It is important to love your business and work with your soul. "Only then will work bring real pleasure," he says.

The story of Evgeny Tiyosov is a story of loyalty to his choice, respect for his profession and the people around him. It is such specialists who create a solid and reliable foundation of the Plant, help maintain the stability of production and transfer experience to those who are just starting their journey.
