  Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a holiday in which unity, continuity of generations and a sense of shared responsibility for the future are of particular importance. It was in this mood that on December 16, the day of the state holiday, the corporate sports event "Dad, Mom and I are a sports family" was held at UKTMK JSC, according to a good and already beloved tradition.

  This holiday has long been an integral part of the corporate life of the Plant. It unites the employees of the company and its subsidiaries not only as colleagues, but also as families, allowing them to spend time together, support each other and feel like part of a single team. This year, 14 teams made up of employees of the plant and its subsidiaries, along with their children, took part in the competition.

  From the very first minutes, the atmosphere of a real celebration reigned on the sports field. Children's laughter, words of support, applause from fans and sports excitement created a special mood in which there was no place for competition for the sake of results – emotions, communication and joint participation were in the foreground. For many children, this event was the first sports experience of this scale, and for adults, it was an opportunity to look at colleagues in a new way, beyond working shifts.

  The competition program was designed so that each participant could prove himself. The relay races combined elements of several sports at once – football, basketball, hockey, lawn and table tennis, badminton and gymnastics. The participants demonstrated accuracy, dexterity and coordination, went slalom with balls, competed in jumping and speed running.

  With each relay race, the tension and excitement only increased. Parents and children supported each other, prompted each other, rejoiced at successful moments and did not get upset because of small mistakes. It was at such moments that the main idea of the holiday was especially pronounced – teamwork and mutual support, where the result is achieved through joint efforts.

  Following the results of all stages, the judging panel summed up the results of the competition. The winner was the team of workshop No. 14, which confidently demonstrated unity and athletic spirit. The second place was taken by the team of the medical center – Em alu Plus LLP, and the third place went to the team of workshop No. 11.

  Additionally, the teams that proved themselves in special nominations were awarded. The representatives of workshop No. 6 became the most cheerful, the team of workshop No. 9 received the title of the most friendly, the team of workshop No. 7 was recognized as the best by the fans, and the team of workshop No. 8 won the award "For the will to win".

  "We took part in these competitions back in 2022, and then we also took first place," said Nurbolat Zhamantayev, the captain of the team. – We are very pleased with the victory and we believe that such events perfectly unite the team, strengthen family values and raise team spirit.

  The sports festival was organized by the trade union committee of UKTMK JSC, which traditionally pays great attention to the development of corporate culture and support for family values. Gennady Pismarkin, Chairman of the Trade union Committee, stressed the importance of holding such events on Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

  – It is important for us to support such initiatives because they bring joy to children and their parents. When families go to the start together, there are smiles, emotions and the very feeling of celebration that we hold such events for.

  Thanks to the thoughtful organization and attention to detail, all participants were able not only to prove themselves, but also to receive pleasant prizes, sincere emotions and a charge of good mood for the whole day.

  The sports festival "Dad, Mom and I are a sports family" once again confirmed that the corporate life of UKTMK JSC is not only about production achievements, but also caring for people, their families, traditions and a common team spirit that makes the team truly strong and cohesive.
