Machine tool and fate

The story of Aidarkhanov Meirambek Ziyatbekuly is the story of a choice made once and determined his whole life. Behind an outwardly restrained biography are decades of work, overcoming and inner perseverance, thanks to which a true professional is formed.

He was born in 1952 in the village of Slavyanka, Kurchum district. Childhood and adolescence came at a difficult time, when you had to grow up early and take responsibility. After graduating from high school in 1968, he, like many of his peers, aspired to get an education and go to study. The attempt to enter the Leningrad College was the first serious step towards an independent life, but circumstances turned out differently, and after his father's death, he had to return home.

This period was a turning point. He and his mother took care of a large family. In such circumstances, the question of choosing a profession was not just a matter of the future, it became a necessity. Later, the young Meirambek returns to training and learns turning, a profession that will later become his life's work.

Military service has tempered character, taught discipline and responsibility. After the army, our hero begins to work as a locksmith in his native village, but the desire for development does not leave him. He is going to Ust-Kamenogorsk to deepen his knowledge and gain practical skills. On February 10, 1983, a new stage of his life began. He got a job in workshop No. 11 at the Ust-Kamenogorsk Titanium and Magnesium Combine. For many, it's just a date in the workbook, but for him, it's the beginning of a long and meaningful journey.

The first days at the company were not easy. The young specialist had to prove that he really knows the profession, that he has not only training, but also real skills.

"If you prove that you are a real turner, you will stay," Meirambek Ziyatbekuly recalls the words of the head.

It was not a formality, but an unspoken rule of production. And he accepted it. In a short time, Meirambek Ziyatbekuly managed to prove himself as a competent and responsible employee. He gained a foothold in the team, mastered the production process and gradually became a confident specialist. It was a period when not only professional skills were being formed, but also an attitude to business. The work of a turner requires high precision, attention to detail and responsibility for the result. An error is unacceptable here, because the quality of the work depends on the further work of the entire production process.

Over time, experience comes, and with it the respect of colleagues and recognition. Meirambek Ziyatbekuly participates in professional turner competitions, where he demonstrates a high level of training and takes prizes. His work is marked by awards, including the title of "Best Metallurgist", the state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Order of Enbek Danky, III degree, and a large number of letters of thanks and encouragement for conscientious, selfless work, and high professional achievements. But behind all these achievements lies daily, painstaking work.

Years spent at the machine require not only physical endurance, but also internal discipline. This is a profession in which it is impossible to work half-heartedly, it requires full dedication.

- The best years of my life were spent here. The factory gave me everything, a profession, experience, and confidence," says the veteran. These words sound simple, but they are based on decades spent working, working as a team, and constantly moving forward.

The dynasty attaches special value to this story. Meirambek Ziyatbekuly's brother also devoted his life to the Plant, worked as a foreman of the crane service. Today, the tradition is continued by the following generations: a nephew and a son who have been working for more than 20 years.

However, at the center of this story is still a personal choice. The choice to stay in the profession, despite the difficulties. The choice to develop and improve. Choosing to be useful where it really matters.

The total work experience of Meirambek Ziyatbekula is 45 years. In 2016, he took a well-deserved rest, but even after that he continued to work for some time, remaining faithful to his work.

Today, his story is not just memories, it is part of the overall history of the Plant, in which the fate of people becomes the basis of production achievements. Each such biography has a contribution that cannot be measured in numbers alone.

The path of Meirambek Ziyatbekuly is the path of a man who has proven with his work that a real profession is not only a job, but also responsibility, character, and inner support for life.
