  Alexander Pimenov, a graduate of the UKTMK Greco-Roman wrestling school, won a gold medal at the open Republican youth tournament dedicated to the memory of USSR Master of Sports Alimanov Yesenzhol Mukhabetuly. The competition was held in Almaty and brought together the strongest wrestlers from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

  Alexander confidently conducted all the fights, demonstrating high technical and tactical training, endurance and character. At the end of the tournament, he took first place in his weight class.

  The UKTMK Greco-Roman Wrestling School has been a forge of athletic talents for many years. Here they form not only champions, but also cultivate hard work, discipline and responsibility among the children. Alexander Pimenov is one of the most promising students: his perseverance and daily work naturally led to victory at the republican tournament.

  The school has a serious competition ahead – the Kazakhstan Adult Championship, which will be held in Almaty from November 30 to December 4. The honor of the Combine at these competitions will be defended by three pupils of the UKTMK School of Greco-Roman wrestling, who are conducting intensive preparations for performing in the adult arena. Alexander's success serves as an additional incentive and example for them.

  The coach of the Greco-Roman wrestling school, Daniyar Abilov, expressed gratitude to the President of UKTMK JSC, Asem Mamutova, and the Trade Union Committee for their support and attention to the development of sports. According to him, it is this support that allows young athletes to regularly participate in competitions and achieve high results.

  Alexander Pimenov's victory was the result of the joint work of the athlete, the coaching staff and the UKTMK Greco-Roman wrestling school and serves as an example for the young wrestlers of the enterprise.
